What information is required to request a quotation?

To request a quotation, please provide the product required, quantity, destination port, preferred Incoterm, company name, country, contact details and preferred payment method.

For contract transactions, additional corporate and banking documentation may be requested at a later stage in accordance with our commercial procedures.

What are your minimum order quantities (MOQ)?

Minimum order quantities vary depending on the product, origin, packaging, destination and current supply conditions. For bulk commodities, MOQs are established according to the specific product and shipment program, while packaged products and private-label orders may be based on container quantities. Please contact us with your requirements for a specific quotation.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Depending on the transaction, we may accept TT / MT103, SBLC MT760 or Documentary Letter of Credit (DLC / MT700). Payment terms, banking requirements and transaction structure are confirmed in the official commercial offer and contractual documentation.

How are product quality and inspections handled?

Product specifications, certificates and quality documentation are provided according to the commodity and origin. When required, inspections may be carried out by internationally recognized inspection companies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek at the agreed inspection point, normally at the port of loading or designated warehouse in accordance with the transaction terms.

Which Incoterms and destinations are available?

We work with international commercial terms such as FOB, CIF and, when specifically available, DDP or other agreed Incoterms. Destination ports and logistics conditions are evaluated according to the product, origin, shipment size and buyer requirements.

Can you supply products under private label?

Yes. Selected products can be supplied under the buyer’s private label or under our MIA – F. Castagnino Selection brand, subject to product availability, minimum quantities, packaging specifications and production requirements.

How does the commercial procedure work?

Our standard procedure begins with the buyer’s request or LOI, followed by our commercial offer. Once the main terms are accepted, the buyer provides the required ICPO and corporate documentation. The transaction then proceeds through the appropriate contractual, banking, payment and shipment stages according to the agreed terms.

How long does it take to receive a commercial response?

Initial inquiries are normally reviewed within 1–2 business days. Formal quotations and transaction documentation may require additional time depending on product availability, quantity, destination, packaging, logistics and supplier confirmation.
